Dispersion is a collection ideated by Waheeda to visualize the interconnection of past, present and/or future occurrences. The aim of this collection is to simply portray the ripple effect that one event has on another for easier conceptualisation by the viewer. Throughout her artworks in this collection, the main subject matter sprawls into smaller imageries that either reflects the consequential events that ensue its occurrence or the causal events that led up to it. The term dispersion accurately represents the art style in which one main event disperses and enables the growth of other significant events, just as one flower’s seeds disperses with the wind to grow more flowers.
